What kind of food is FUD?
+
FUD is natural dog food, a type of feeding based on fresh and natural ingredients, without preservatives, colourings or artificial flavourings. Our recipes specifically are designed to have the perfect proportion of proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals each dog needs. In addition to using locally sourced products, we cook them gently with steam to preserve flavour and nutrients, and to eliminate the risk of pathogens. Finally, we deliver them to your home so you can serve them whenever you want.
Is it a complete and balanced food?
+
Yes, at each meal your dog will get all the nutrients they need. This is possible thanks to our team of veterinary nutritionists, who have selected the best ingredients to provide 99% of vitamins and minerals in their natural form.
How are the recipes stored?
+
The recipes are prepared in our kitchens and sent directly to your home. If they are fresh, you can keep them in the fridge and serve them whenever you want. To keep them beyond their use-by date, you can freeze them without any issue. If they are sterilised, you can store them anywhere.
How are the recipes served?
+
We recommend serving them at room temperature. If served fresh, we suggest taking them out and letting them warm up a little before eating. If you prefer, you can also put them in the microwave for a few seconds.
Is it suitable for puppies?
+
Yes. Our veterinary nutritionists have prepared a menu specifically for them and their needs, so they have all the nutrients they need at such an early age.
Are there any nutritional differences between fresh and sterilised food?
+
No, they only differ in the cooking process, as they share the same composition. Moreover, external tests show there is no difference.
Is sterilised FUD for neutered dogs?
+
No, there's no connection. It's called sterilised FUD because of the cooking process, which eliminates any bacteria or pathogens that may be present.
What is Grain Free?
+
It means none of our recipes include grains such as wheat, corn or rice. Instead we add ingredients that are more interesting nutritionally, such as potato or peas. Thanks to this small change, they cause fewer allergies and food intolerances and are easier to digest.
Do FUD menus contain bones?
+
No, in none of our recipes.
How many days does a pack last?
+
It depends on your dog's daily plan and the format, but the pack covers the necessary daily ration and can be kept for 2 days.
Why choose FUD over natural kibble?
+
Because it all comes down to the basics. The ingredients of FUD are very different from those of natural kibble. We only work with quality products and foods you could have in your fridge. But even if the ingredients were the same (which is impossible), natural kibble is heavily processed and cooked at high temperatures. FUD recipes, on the other hand, are gently steamed to preserve flavour and nutrients, making them tastier, more hydrating and more nutritious.
Is it the same as the BARF diet?
+
No, the BARF diet is raw feeding, another form of natural feeding for dogs, but it doesn't always suit them. The FUD diet, with recipes gently steamed, keeps all the nutrients while eliminating the risk of pathogens and helping digestion.
Can it be combined with kibble?
+
In some cases we recommend combining with kibble during the transition period, so that the change of diet is gradual and gentler for your dog. After this adaptation phase, we don't recommend combining our recipes with kibble, since they are designed to offer a complete and balanced diet. We recommend asking our nutritionist for advice to design an even more personalised plan.
